The robotic solution consists of a round body that makes use of a [360-degree rotating wheel system](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scop) to automatically make its way through a home. A thermal camera will automatically detect the conditions of a space and the inhabitant to provide heating or cooling accordingly. The robot air conditioner concept has a built-in display for showcasing the temperature it's dispersing and can also be used with aromatics to freshen up a space. The system also features an authentic charging functionality to turn itself off and return to its home base when it isn't needed or power is running low. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.1/10 - Popularity: 91% | Activity: 78% | Freshness: 15% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Robotic HVAC Systems:** There’s an untapped market for automated heating, ventilation, and cooling systems that are easy to control and apply AI algorithms. - **360-degree Robotic Mobility:** Developing a robot that can move seamlessly around homes while distributing heating or air conditioning is a unique innovation opportunity. - **Smart Home Aromatics:** Creating smart home devices that can disperse aromatics tailored to a home's inhabitant is another innovation opportunity. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Appliances:** Home appliance companies can integrate thermal matrix sensors, AI algorithms, and robotic mobility to create automated, seamlessly controlled, and smart home devices. - **Robotics:** Robotics companies can develop and implement 360-degree robotic mobility with programmable thermal cameras and customized aromatics to offer a robotic HVAC solution. - **Smart Home Automation:** The growing smart home automation industry can expand its product line with automated HVAC solutions that are fully controllable via mobile applications. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Indoor Air Conditioning Drones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drone-ac.md) - [Roving Air Purifier Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airbot-z1.md) - [Skincare Support Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-cloi-mister-robot.md) - [Miniature Air Purifier Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plani.md) - [Discreet Furniture-Like Home Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-home-robot-concept.md) - [Omni-Directional AC Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aux-4d.md) - [Autonomous Air Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mito-air-purifier.md) - [Accordion-Style Air Conditioners](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldable-ac.md) - [Targeted Cooling AC Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-artcool-ai-air.md)
