The Italian designer created this functional and [sleek piece for furniture manufacturer](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/single-desk) [Poltrona Frau](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dezza-armchair) using a lightly dyed piece of saddle leather, which covers the fiberboard wooden tabletop. The [dark ash wood frame](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/model-36) complements the leather, and the continuous design creates a modern and sophisticated look. The desk drawer is hidden from the front view, providing the user with the convenient qualities of a standard office desk without the bulky appearance. The Roberto Lazzeroni Fred desk is perfect for the home or work office, and would serve as a classy working space in an artist's studio. This is not a look that will soon go out of style, and would be a great addition to any workspace. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 42% | Activity: 19% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Luxurious Leather Workspaces:** The trend of incorporating luxurious leather materials in workspace design presents an opportunity for furniture manufacturers to create sleek and sophisticated office furniture. - **Functional and Sleek Office Desks:** The trend towards functional and sleek office desk designs offers an opportunity for designers to create minimalistic yet practical workspaces for professionals. - **Hidden Storage Solutions:** The trend of hidden desk drawers provides an opportunity for furniture manufacturers to create space-saving and aesthetically pleasing office storage solutions. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Manufacturing:** The furniture manufacturing industry can tap into the trend of luxurious leather workspaces by producing high-quality office furniture made with leather materials. - **Office Supplies:** The office supplies industry has an opportunity to cater to the trend of functional and sleek office desk designs by providing innovative and practical desk accessories. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can take advantage of the trend of hidden storage solutions to offer creative and stylish ways to integrate storage in office spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Minimalist Monochromatic Desk Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arqus-desk.md) - [Futuristic Sculptural Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arnardo-desk.md) - [Fold-Away Sleek Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flip-desk.md) - [Employee Personalization Workstation Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zedo-desk.md) - [Ergonomic Multi-Use Desk Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kabinett-desk.md) - [Floating Architectural Desk Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/1949-protractor-desk.md) - [Ultra-Chic Wall Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wall-desks.md) - [Sleek Storage-Packed Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/threesix-desk.md) - [Minimalist Modular Creative Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/note-desk.md)
