Keeping alive this prevalent fad, it offers rather interesting designs while remaining pretty standard. Recently released by Kubedesign, Roberto Giacomucci’s cardboard furniture features patterned seats and table tops. It also folds up easily and conveniently, and is, of course, 100% recyclable. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.5/10 - Popularity: 74% | Activity: 82% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Patterned Cardboard Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore ways to incorporate unique patterns and designs into cardboard furniture to attract consumers. - **Recyclable Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop innovative and eco-friendly materials and designs to create furniture that is 100% recyclable. - **Foldable Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create easily foldable furniture solutions that offer convenience and versatility in small spaces. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Industry:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce sustainable and recyclable furniture options to cater to environmentally-conscious consumers. - **Design Industry:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborate with designers to explore new patterns and concepts for cardboard furniture that resonate with modern aesthetics. - **Sustainable Packaging Industry:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Utilize the concept of patterned cardboard furniture to inspire the development of eco-friendly packaging solutions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cardboard Box Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/karton-furniture-collection.md) - [Cardboard Box-Transformed Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/box-exhibition.md) - [Cardboard-Inspired Ceramic Household Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cardboard-collection.md) - [Ergonomic Cardboard Seat Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cardboard-chair-process-book.md) - [Collapsible Flatpack Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/edo-side-table.md) - [Wood-Resembling Recycled Plastic Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nardi.md) - [Stackable Flat-Pack Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bug-collection-1.md) - [Sustainable Colorful Multifunctional Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/superpop.md) - [Wood-Mimicking Furniture Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stool-and-table.md)
