It's a fun spin and a breakaway from [traditional bookcases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twoinone-billy-model) that are usually linear and straight cut. The Tree Bookcase is Corazza's project where books can be placed in angular positions that are entirely different. This whimsical plastic case conveys a sense of play when it comes to interior design. It can stand on its own or be propped on a wall. It's a [functional bookcase](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/penguin-x-moebe-book-stand) that will contain your favorite books and, at the same time, be a vibrant piece of art. Like the imaginary places books can bring readers to, this Tree Bookcase by Roberto Corazza branches out to offer functional and artistic craftsmanship. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.9/10 - Popularity: 22% | Activity: 57% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Whimsical Furniture:** Designing furniture with unconventional and playful elements could disrupt the traditional furniture market. - **Artistic Interior Design:** Creating functional pieces of art for interior design can offer a unique and creative approach to furniture. - **Nonlinear Bookcases:** Incorporating angular positions and unconventional shapes into bookcases can bring innovation to the market. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Design:** Exploring whimsical and artistic elements in furniture design can lead to disruptive innovation opportunities in the industry. - **Interior Design:** Integrating functional art pieces into interior design can create new opportunities for innovation in the industry. - **Home Decor:** Offering non-traditional and visually appealing bookcases can disrupt the home decor market and attract consumers looking for unique design options. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Book-Storing Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookgroove-bookrack.md) - [Video Game-Like Bookcases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tetris-bookcase.md) - [Twisting Donut-Shaped Bookshelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hullabaloo-bookshelf.md) - [Personality-Enhancing Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ordo-book.md) - [Sculptural Bookshelves Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-bookshelf.md) - [Sliding Wintery Landscape Bookshelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/manhwabang-bookshelf.md) - [Toy Block-Inspired Wooden Bookshelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rotating-picture-book.md) - [Twisting CGI-Designed Sideboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookscrew-sideboard.md) - [Dynamic Geometric Bookshelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cheft.md)
