The [side table](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tong-side-table) is made to rest in two forms: a standing table and a flat rectangular board. When the table is needed, it can be propped up and turned into a table. Embricqs' clever design allows users to choose between the option of having a table or storing it away when space is needed. The Rising Side table is connected with strategically placed incisions to [one piece of wood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/topographic-coffee-table). It makes for a simplistic, yet vibrant beauty with its own shape and [coiling structure](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-coffee-tables). It can be used as a great accent against other heavy and non-texturized pieces and its bright veneer color will stand out. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.0/10 - Popularity: 87% | Activity: 86% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Modular Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Expanding the concept of multifunctional furniture with customizable modules that can be easily rearranged to suit different needs and spaces. - **Space-saving Solutions:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Designing furniture that can be easily transformed or stored away to optimize limited living spaces. - **Sustainable Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Creating furniture using eco-friendly materials and production techniques to appeal to environmentally-conscious consumers. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporating innovative designs and functionalities into furniture to meet the evolving demands of consumers. - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introducing unique and space-efficient furniture options to enhance the overall design and functionality of living spaces. - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Offering visually striking and versatile furniture pieces to cater to the growing demand for aesthetically pleasing and functional home decor. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Puzzling Geometric Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linked-side-table.md) - [Reversable Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reverse.md) - [Adjustable Side Table](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/turno.md) - [Modular Flat-Pack Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flatpack-side-table.md) - [Dynamic Structural Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wims.md) - [Versatile Curvaceous Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/proust.md) - [Wall-Mounted Two-Legged Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/instable-side-table.md) - [Dynamic Geometric Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/designated-side-table.md) - [Dynamic Sculptural Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/interactive-transformation-table.md)
