# Kinked Cord Clothes Hooks The Roberope Coat Rack Brings a Casual Whimsicality to Tidiness By Amelia Roblin | Published 2012-10-10 | Eco Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roberope-coat-rack References: [stilsucht.de](http://www.stilsucht.de/10/2012/roberope/) & [roberope](http://www.roberope.com/) Despite the fact that the Roberope Coat Rack essentially appears to be a dangling dangling cord, the piece would certainly bring some decorative intrigue to sophisticated and contemporary spaces. It's seen here, informally hanging from shed roofs, but full of potential to brighten up any room. Naturally, it would do so quite simply by encouraging inhabitants to sling their jackets, scarves and hats over one of the five kinked clothes pegs on the stringy stand. But the striking 4-meter-long domestic accessory comes in an assortment of bold colors and hangs with a playful yet rational silhouette. The great thing about the Roberope Coat Rack is that it isn't just something you set down in a space. It attaches to the ceiling, it scales the wall and its excess length coils easily on the floor. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.1/10 - Popularity: 84% | Activity: 91% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Dangling Cord Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create customizable hanging accessories that add a whimsical touch to contemporary spaces. - **Playful Home Accessories:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design multifunctional home decor items with bold colors and rational silhouettes. - **Ceiling-wall Hybrid Attachments:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop flexible home organization solutions that can be attached to both ceilings and walls. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore new designs and materials for customizable home decor accessories. - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate playful and functional elements into interior design projects for contemporary spaces. - **Storage and Organization:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create innovative solutions for storing and organizing personal belongings in homes and offices. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sporty Climbing-Inspired Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grip-hanger.md) - [Open-Concept Clothing Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bauhutte-clothes-hanger-rack.md) - [Chinese Character-Shaped Coat Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/resting-coat-rack.md) - [Quirky Structural Clothes Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hang-we.md) - [Smiley Clothing Wall Hooks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/itsahook.md) - [Rotating Punctuation Mark Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emotion-hanger.md) - [Wall-Mounted Wall Rack](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/velto.md) - [Geometrically Shaped Hanger Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/triangle-hanger.md) - [Modular Minimal Wardrobe Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/koi-cloths.md)
