In this series of pictures depicting The Avengers cast, he pencils in the rough gestures of the characters, then goes over the details in ink, colors in the images with what appears to be markers and then finishes everything off by [splattering paint](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Demon-Slayer-Paint-Kit) on the compositions. If that’s not dedication to one's craft, I don’t know what is. Also worth mentioning is Rob Duenas’ sharp drawing style. There are a ton of rigid lines in his work, giving his subjects a powerful and dangerous feel, which is appropriate considering he’s depicting the likes of [Iron Man, Hulk and Captain America](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ovo-x-marvel). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.3/10 - Popularity: 57% | Activity: 64% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Mixed-media Art:** Diversity of art materials and methods opens potential for market breakthroughs in creating art pieces and craft designs. - **Multimedia Innovation:** Combining traditional and digital artwork opens avenues for software developers to create efficient and sustainable creative programs. - **Hybrid Styles:** Incorporating multiple art styles and techniques offers opportunities for innovation in art brands and merchandise. ### Where This Applies - **Art Supplies:** The art materials industry should consider producing more diverse and combined media art supplies to accommodate the changing needs of both professional and amateur artists. - **Comic Book Publishing:** Incorporating mixed-media styles in comic book art design offers novel forms of storytelling that could attract new readers and invigorate the industry. - **Software Development:** Creating efficient and sustainable creative programs that apply mixed-media artwork styles demonstrates a new dimension of innovative software development for artists and designers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Vibrantly Colorful Dynamic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kayla-rumpp.md) - [Comic Book Coloring Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/made-by-me-manga-artist-set.md) - [3D Superhero Block-Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amazing-spiderman-set.md) - [Artistic Jaw-Dropping Lessons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/masters-of-anatomy.md) - [Reimagined Beloved Character Comics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marvel-and-disney.md) - [Personalized Comic Book Creation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dreamcanvas.md) - [Superhero-Inspired Comic Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marvel-collection.md) - [Comic-Themed Tech Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/super-heroes-vs-villains.md) - [Washable Superhero Rugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/superhero-rugs.md)
