The River House by YONOH is a futuristic house that generated its own electrical energy using a [hydraulic mill](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hydrokinetic-river-power) that looks just like a paddle wheel. In order for the River House to work, the home would have to be built along the banks of a river or lake.

The small River House by YONOH would be a [loft-style abode](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hirondelle-tiny-house) made out of [granite and wood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chalk-river-house). A large paddle wheel becomes a focal point in the home and while on paper it looks quite spectacular, we're not sure how we'd feel about having to look at that thing turning around 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
