The ARC River Culture Pavilion Design by New York-based Asymptote resembles a large quilted spaceship. The silvery pillow-like installation is situated above an artificial hill near a man-made river in Daegu, South Korea. The bowl formation is covered in ETFE pillows, which is what creates the [quilted exterior texture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/curly-cube). Visitors enter through an underground entrance, allowing them to see the galleries both above and below ground. The roof also accommodates an enormous [observation deck](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lake-house-life-experience-pavilion). The main exhibition features a 60-meter-long projection screen, resulting in artistic moving imagery.

The interior of the ARC River Culture Pavilion stands in sharp contrast to its light exterior. The inside is a darker-hued [multimedia-immersive space](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-orb) with lots of sleek lines.
