The [series exhibit](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rhinoceros-gallery1) was commissioned by [NASA](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beyond-the-light) and combines photos captured from the Curiosity Rover, with [surreal objects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/remembering-the-future) and people mixed in. It's meant to show a once inhabited planet that is now empty and being explored by two futuristic females. It shows martian buildings and spaceships floating in the air, with astronauts exploring them. They're totally fantasy driven and really quite beautiful. It's really too bad that these photo's weren't real, it would have made the event just so much more spectacular. This is definitely a series worth checking out. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 30% | Activity: 32% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/photography) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Futuristic Art Photography:** Capturing unreal and made-up scenes using creative editing and surreal elements. - **Space Exploration Art:** Creating visually stunning representations of outer space and the unknown through creative art mediums. - **Fictional World Creation:** Transporting audiences to imaginative, alternative worlds with the help of technology and artistic vision. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Culture:** Opportunities to for artists and galleries to showcase visually creative and spectacular exhibitions inspired by exploring the unknown. - **Space Exploration:** Using artistic mediums to showcase and promote the wonders of space exploration, as well as to build public awareness and interest in the subject. - **Technology:** Innovations in editing, software, and design that allow creators to bring imaginative and magical works to life. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Immersive Space Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beyond-the-light.md) - [Retro Space-Themed Puzzled Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/john-carter.md) - [AI-Generated Retrofuturistic Objects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retrofuturistic-objects.md) - [Planetary-Inspired Glassware Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mars-collection.md) - [Futuristic Mars-Themed Cafes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marsthemed-cafe.md) - [Sustainable Futures Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/planet-city.md) - [Vintage-Inspired Eclipse Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solar-eclipse-poster.md) - [Fungi-Inspired Multidisciplinary Art Projects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/black-void.md) - [Martian-Informed Inflatable Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/martian-house.md)
