The almost 3D-looking paintings capture a new side of nature. Mixing in map prints and [geometric angles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mathematically-shaped), the art displays the amazing talent of artist Stultz. Scuba divers, dinosaurs and birds with headphones lend the work a futuristic vibe that is another breakaway from any sort of traditional nature work. Big, bright triangles act as accents to create movement throughout the pieces, especially in the case of the captivating running wolf titled 'Break On Through.' The intersection of the birds' wings in the piece 'Where the Paths Cross' is a beautiful cool-colored amalgamation. These completely original pieces are indicative of a gifted artist that knows how to combine color with structure. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.1/10 - Popularity: 60% | Activity: 54% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Geometric Animal Art:** Futuristic geometric animal art is disrupting traditional nature work by combining bright colors and map prints. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art:** The art industry can explore disruptive innovation opportunities by embracing geometric animal art and promoting artists like Ric Stultz. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Geometric Wooden Art Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aleph-geddis.md) - [Psychedelic Sculptural Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frank-stella-recent-sculpture.md) - [Oil Painting-Inspired Rugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antonio-santn.md) - [Striking Urban Wildlife Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clare-allin.md) - [Almost-Extinct Animal Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fauna-series.md) - [Blooming Clustered Art Forms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/structural-botany.md) - [Otherworldly Wooden Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-sculptures-1.md) - [Vibrant Snake Graphic Rugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snakes-in-the-grass.md) - [Abstract Geometric Rugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/discorectangle.md)
