# Peak-A-Boo Glacial Canopies The Ribbons Open Air Theatre Weaves Through Space By Meghan Young | Published 2009-12-04 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ribbons-open-air-theater References: [designboom](http://www.designboom.com/weblog/cat/9/view/8366/makoto-sei-watanabe-ribbons-open-air-theater.html) & [makoto-architect](http://www.makoto-architect.com/) Although entitled the ‘Ribbons’ open air theater, I can’t help think that it looks more like a melting glacier than anything else.
