Made by the Fundamental Group, the kit comes with a collection of [abstract geometric tiles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acre-template) that can be arranged in clusters to create fascinating visual effects. The individual modules are made of polystyrene and are designed to be installed side-by-side to create [parametric textures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trama-collection). They produce the illusion of an artistically deconstructed ceiling with the option of integrating colorful accent pieces. You can apply the Rhombus System to the walls or beneath the roof, but the aesthetic impact of arranging them around a [pendant lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape-lamp) is particularly intriguing. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.0/10 - Popularity: 78% | Activity: 35% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Geometric Ceiling Designs:** As demand for unique and artistic ceiling treatments continue to rise, innovative designers can capitalize on creating modular systems that can be applied to a range of interior spaces. - **Parametric Textures:** Designers can refine their focus on creating modular systems for commercial spaces that can be specialized around the techniques of parametric design. - **3D Modular Wall Systems:** A new wave of interior designers are exploring the potential of 3D modular wall systems to provide a bespoke accent to interior spaces. ### Who This Affects Most - **Interior Design:** Modular ceiling and wall systems are providing designers with more creative control over interior spaces. - **Architecture:** Innovative modular systems are leading the way in bringing a greater sense of depth and movement to modern architecture. - **Construction Materials:** New innovative materials are being developed to accommodate the expanding demand for customized, modular interior design. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Contemporary Ceiling Grid Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grid-ceiling-tiles.md) - [Energy-Saving Artistically Contoured Ceilings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contoured-ceiling.md) - [Dynamic Mathematically Shaped Surfaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mathematically-shaped.md) - [Modular Speaker Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grid-modular-sound.md) - [Felt-Made Wall Decorations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hush-blocks.md) - [Sculpted Pattern Tiles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/osso-bottone.md) - [Customizable Acoustic Lighting Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/customizble-acoustic-lighting-system.md) - [Textured Surface Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omogenea.md) - [Dynamic Interchangeable Wall Tiles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/abyss-wall.md)
