Jewelry designer Amy Johntson’s ‘Hidden Agenda’ collection includes this RFID and [silver collar](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gps-dog-collar). Each of the 45 [radio-frequency tags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/phototag) concealed within the black discs are, “programmed to display an image, quote or question about tracking, surveillance and projection of identity,” says Johnston.

This secret information can be retrieved by a computer fitted with an RFID wand reader. This piece costs $1900, but the concept is a priceless reminder that we are being watched.

The [sterling ring](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oura-ring-4-ceramic) is also RFID-equipped and is offered by the designer, “as an alternative to subdermally implanting tags into humans.” A much more appealing option, I say.
