Although it has more of a magical connotation in its name, the Revealing Cabinet is simply a storage unit featuring doors with holes in them that strategically show part of its innards. Made form recycled floorboards, I’m leaning towards liking the Revealing Cabinet. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.0/10 - Popularity: 12% | Activity: 10% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Cut-out Furniture:** The trend towards cut-out designs creates opportunities for furniture manufacturers to innovate on traditional designs. - **Sustainable Materials:** The use of recycled floorboards in the Revealing Cabinet shows the rising trend towards sustainable materials in furniture design. - **Revealing Design:** The Revealing Cabinet's strategic cut-out doors exemplify the trend towards designs that highlight the inner workings of products. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Furniture companies can capitalize on the trend towards cut-out designs and sustainable materials by creating innovative and eco-friendly products like the Revealing Cabinet. - **Home Decor:** The trend towards revealing designs in furniture can also extend to the home decor industry, creating opportunities for designers to incorporate unique and eye-catching pieces like the Revealing Cabinet. - **Sustainable Manufacturing:** The use of recycled materials in furniture design is part of a larger trend towards sustainable manufacturing, which creates opportunities for companies to develop eco-friendly practices in their production processes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sandbox-Like Modular Storage Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-storage-cabinet1.md) - [Miniature Sanitized Cabinet Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yujin-lee.md) - [Stylish Oakwood Storage Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moose-cabinet.md) - [Tropical Island-Inspired Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/weaver-cabinet.md) - [Minimal Four-Legged Wooden Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/exposure-cabinet.md) - [Modular Storage Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-storage-cabinet.md) - [Cabinet-Concealed Modern Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/obelisk-3.md) - [Forest-Inspired Wooden Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hayashi-cabinet.md) - [Thoughtful Wheeling Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cabinet-on-wheels.md)
