With food prices climbing higher than ever, people are feeling the squeeze at grocery stores and restaurants, and in many [IKEA](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-new-lower-prices) markets around the world, restaurant meal prices will be halved Monday through Friday—and kids can eat for free.

As part of its commitment to sharing healthy, sustainable, affordable food, [Ingka Group](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/saluhall), the largest IKEA retailer, is reducing food prices. In France, the price of lunch for a family of four (which includes two hot meals with [meatballs for adults](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/turkeysized-meatballs) and two meals for kids) will cost €6.96 instead of €19.9. On top of that, all restaurant guests will receive a €5 voucher to use in-store.

IKEA customers can look forward to slashed food prices in Austria, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK.
