The Woodspeen Restaurant and Cookery School is a gorgeous understated space in South East England serving multiple functions. Founded around a dedication to "slow food" and eating local and seasonal ingredients, the Woodspeen is at once a cooking school, restaurant and bar. The Woodspeen was designed by studio Softroom and was commissioned by chef John Campbell.
The Woodspeen is located within a 19th century building with a thatched-roof and an interior filled with materials that match the authentic nature of the ingredients. The contemporary space is bright and pristine, featuring plenty of reclaimed wood and natural-fiber fabrics that define the space as well-articulated and relaxing.
A unique feature of the Woodspeen Restaurant and Cookery School is its half-acre garden from which it sources many of its seasonal ingredients.
