The San Francisco-based studio, which was led by principal E.B. Min, approaches each project with an artistic sensibility that emphasizes the interplay of light, materiality, and spatial flow. Min Design's 'Capturing Light' residence exemplifies innovative solutions for [dark urban sites](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portland-house-renovation) and employs sophisticated lighting techniques to create bright, reflective spaces despite limited exterior exposures. Meanwhile, the [Tribeca Penthouse](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meadow-lane-store) project reveals its [sensitive handling of historic structures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/void-house), where minimalist interventions complement existing timber frameworks while introducing modern functionality for family living. Both projects share the studio's signature attention to detail — from the strategic placement of architectural elements that manipulate daylight to the thoughtful integration of storage and display solutions within clean-lined millwork.
