Not only does the generator offer solar energy, but its [compact size](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/enginuity-portable-power-station) makes it [completely portable](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/allpowers), allowing people to charge their devices no matter how far off the grid they go. The Renogy Phoenix is about the size of a briefcase, but that minimal profile doesn't detract from its impressive energy capacity. It houses two 10-watt [solar panels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-solar-tracker) that store energy in a lithium-ion battery. Once charged, it can power virtually any device or even multiple devices at once with its AC inverter, two DC ports, and four USB ports. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.4/10 - Popularity: 69% | Activity: 85% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Portable Solar Energy:** Developing more compact solar panels and energy storage systems to create portable renewable energy solutions for consumers and businesses. - **Multi-use Portable Chargers:** Combination energy storage and charging devices with multiple ports to help power a variety of devices for people on the go. - **Off-grid Power Solutions:** Creating alternative power solutions for individuals and businesses in areas where traditional electrical grids are unreliable or unavailable. ### Where This Applies - **Consumer Electronics:** Renewable energy companies can collaborate with consumer electronics manufacturers to create more efficient and portable energy solutions for charging devices. - **Outdoor Recreation:** Companies designing and manufacturing outdoor recreational equipment can incorporate portable solar panels and energy storage to keep customers' devices charged during outdoor excursions. - **Emergency Response:** Emergency response organizations can leverage portable solar energy solutions to ensure their critical equipment and communication devices remain charged during natural disasters or other crises. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Portable Energy Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-energy-generator.md) - [Off-Grid Solar-Powered Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jackery-1500-pro.md) - [Portable Solar Generator Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jackery-solar-generator-3000-pro.md) - [Ultra-Portable Eco Power Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bluetti-eb3a.md) - [Sustainable Portable Solar Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bluetti.md) - [Collapsible Solar-Powered Energy Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-energy-storage-power-supply.md) - [Balcony-Friendly Solar Power Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anker-solar-bank-2-e1600-pro.md) - [Solar Generator-Integrated Backpacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/handsfree-2.md) - [Compact Portable Power Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-power-station1.md)
