In recent years, everyone's relationship with technology has hit new statuses that exceed what is listed in their [Facebook](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/facebook-verified) profiles. People can use technology for almost everything so we treat our computers and phones as if they were our significant counterparts. We [sleep with them](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/phone-sleep-collection), we eat with them, we travel with them and we work with them. Many people can even relate [losing their phone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/before-the-internet) to the feeling of losing a child; they get extremely anxious and worrisome.

A London-based graphic designer from France named Jean Jullien decided to create a witty series of illustrations that shed light on the relationships we share with our devices. He presented them at this year’s Pictoplasma exhibition and he described them as “a tongue-in-cheek take on devices and everyday observations that everyone can relate to."
