Reindhardt Jung was commissioned to [renovate a residential space](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bauhaus-budapest-apartment) called FNS apartments to focus on architectural function and this apartment was the result. The beautifully designed space is done in [milk-white](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ode-to-the-moon), which really accentuates natural lighting. Other unique characteristics include moving walls and geometric shelves and drawers. Reindhardt Jung's [crisp clean design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oldnew) shows that less is more. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 42% | Activity: 39% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Minimalism Design:** The use of milk-white color, moving walls and geometric shelves and drawers is a new trend in minimalism design in architecture. - **Natural Lighting:** Natural lighting as the main source of illumination in residential spaces is a growing trend in interior design. - **Flexible Living Spaces:** The use of moving walls is a trend in creating flexible living spaces in architectural design. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Real Estate:** Real estate companies and developers can utilize the minimalism design trend to create beautiful and functional living spaces emphasizing natural light sources. - **Furniture:** Furniture manufacturers can develop geometric shelves and drawers to cater to the minimalist market. - **Architecture:** Architects can integrate flexible living spaces with moving walls to design adaptable environments in residential and commercial spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Light-Filled Alpine Lofts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omarama-attic.md) - [Smartly Designed Compact Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compact-apartments2.md) - [Curved Translucent Experimental Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptors-apartment.md) - [Reflective Surface German Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kier-apartment.md) - [Redesigned Curved Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taichung-apartment.md) - [Industrial-Inspired Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glassbrick-apartment.md) - [Bright Urban Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-64.md) - [Nostalgic 70s-Inspired Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-special-studio.md) - [Vibrant Milanese Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/milanese-apartment.md)
