Called La Grande, this collection is a series of [long lampshade lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alma-light-totem-i) that come in a variety of colors. The lamps are supported by a [metal base and a wood stem](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bobine) mechanism. Its slender shade is beneficial if you're looking for something that gives you direct light. Reinhard Dienes will be launching La Grande for Anthologie Quartett at MasonObjet 2011. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 13% | Activity: 30% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Colorful Cylindrical Lights:** The trend of using colorful cylindrical lights in interior design is on the rise. - **Slender and Stylish Lamp:** The trend for slender and stylish lamps offers a sleek aesthetic for modern interiors. - **Direct Lighting:** The trend towards using lamps that provide direct light is gaining popularity for task lighting purposes. ### Who This Affects Most - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can incorporate colorful cylindrical lights to create vibrant and unique spaces. - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can capitalize on the trend for slender and stylish lamps to offer modern and chic lighting options. - **Lighting Design:** The lighting design industry has an opportunity to provide innovative solutions for direct lighting needs with the use of sleek and functional lamp designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Minimal Elongated Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/silk-grey.md) - [Oversized Pen Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bic-lamp.md) - [Retro-Tinged Compact Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lari-mini.md) - [Pasta-Inspired Curvaceous Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neotenic-lamp.md) - [Archetypal Conical Light Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragile-lamp.md) - [Bulbous Whimsical Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neotenic.md) - [Sculptural Metal Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape.md) - [Opulent Outdoor Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gubi-seine-portable-lamp.md) - [Artfully Liquid-Like Light Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cairn-lamp.md)
