# Elegantly Contoured Tabletops REEVESdesign Victoria Tables Feature Sinuous Cinches and Corners By Amelia Roblin | Published 2013-02-07 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reevesdesign-victoria-tables References: [reevesd](http://www.reevesd.com/product.aspx?id=66) The undulating edges of the REEVESdesign Victoria Tables might make the objects a little awkward to place directly adjacent to the walls, but who would place such fabulous furnishings anywhere that isn't the focal point of a room? Designed by John Reeves, these stylish vintage-inspired furnishings have rich [solid walnut legs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barricane-tables). The high-quality wood has been carved into graceful S-shaped forms and finished with a protective natural beeswax. On top of the four poised supports is a flat tabletop with [sculpted sides](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fels-coffee-table). The thick polyurethane-coated piece is available in three sizes, forming a side table, a coffee table and a console table. The REEVESdesign Victoria Tables come in a variety of bold colors that bring a modern flair to the antique-style detailed objects. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 49% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Vintage-inspired Furniture:** Creating modern furniture pieces with a vintage twist can appeal to both traditional and contemporary consumers. - **Organic Shapes in Furniture Design:** Incorporating flowing and organic shapes in furniture design can bring a sense of movement and elegance to any space. - **Bold Color Accents in Furniture:** Using bold colors in small accents, such as table tops, can add a unique and eye-catching touch to any furniture piece. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Incorporating unique and organic shapes with bold color accents can create standout pieces for manufacturers to offer consumers. - **Interior Design:** Organic shapes in furniture can provide interior designers with innovative options for creating a creative and sophisticated layout. - **Home Decor Retail:** Carving graceful S-shaped legs and sculpted tabletops with a modern twist can offer retailers unique and attractive furnishings options. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Reeded Cocktail Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reeded-round-cocktail-table.md) - [Elegant Table Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tangent-table.md) - [Playful Wavy Table Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wavy-table-design.md) - [Wavy Sculptural Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-coffee-tables.md) - [Colorful Contemporary Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/runda-tables.md) - [Harmonious Helical Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vortex-coffee-table.md) - [Modern Customizable Table Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/customizable-table-design.md) - [Geometric Cutout Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/designated-table.md) - [Topographical Recycled Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/two-coffee-tables.md)
