Botticelli's infamous Birth of Venus (see image below, right) is the inspiration behind the latest [reebok ad](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reebok-x-kodak).

The Zephyrs or Winds that blow Venus to shore in the original painting are used to blow on a [girl running with reebok shoes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/speed-shopping).

The campaign is created by [mcgarrybowen](http://www.mcgarrybowen.com) ad agency, New York, United States with creative direction by Lew Willig & Mark Koelfgen, art direction by Lew Willig, and photography by Kai Uwe Gundlach.

The Birth of Venus has been a big inspiration in ads lately, only a while back we featured new [hotel ads](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/renaissance-hotels-ads-modeled-on-italian-renaissance-paintings) that use the painting as well.
