**Grasscar Mower Sports**, the rural counterpart of [NASCAR](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nascar-1) Auto Racing, is a non-profit organization based in New York State.

Through [racing their lawnmowers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/batterypowered-lawn-mowers) in various tracks, these “Rednecks Racing for a Cause” advocates raise funds for charity. However, despite this renegade sport's charity status, there are strict rules regarding body and engine specifications to keep it competitive.

For comprehensive rules, results, and event details, please visit their website at [http://www.grasscar.org](http://www.grasscar.org), promoting Grasscar since 2003.
