People with the potential to be recruited by extremist groups like ISIS aren't well-understood by many psychology professionals, which is why Jigsaw, a [Google](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sensitive-ad-category)-owned think tank, is using Google's objective prediction algorithms in its new 'Redirect Method' program. The Redirect Method is a strategy for recognizing potential ISIS recruits and steering them towards content that combats the brainwashing done by extremist groups.

The program works by taking advantage of the incredibly advanced [Google AdWords system](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aigenerated-ad). In the same way that AdWords recommends ads based on search terms, the Redirect Method will recommend content based on what it recognizes as [dangerous keywords](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-reporting). This content will include statistically successful anti-extremism campaigns such as US State Department PSAs and citizen-created online content.
