# Keychain Pot Holders The Dangling Redfish Trivet Splays Out to Give Your Countertop Coverage By Amelia Roblin | Published 2012-10-12 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/redfish-trivet References: [notcot.org](http://www.notcot.org/post/50328/) & [animicausa](http://www.animicausa.com/shop/Kitchen-and-Tabletop/RedFish-Trivet/tpflypage.tpl.html) Hooked up with your scissors and your bottle opener on the kitchen wall, the Redfish Trivet does not immediately disclose its function. The quirky little culinary implement consists of a wire loop and four hanging fish in what seems to be red silicone. It isn't until you set the Amini Causa coaster and spread the small marine creatures out that you might realize what it's supposed to do. The arrangement becomes an effective stand for a hot pot, a frying pan or a casserole dish to protect your dining table from being damaged. The Redfish Trivet is cute, it's quirky, it can be sent through the dishwasher and it can be conveniently suspended for storage. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 7% | Activity: 22% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Kitchen](https://www.trendhunter.com/kitchen) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Multi-purpose Kitchen Accessories:** Opportunity to create innovative kitchen tools that serve multiple functions and enhance usability. - **Space-saving Storage Solutions:** Potential for disruptive innovations that offer compact storage options for small kitchen spaces. - **Eco-friendly Kitchen Gadgets:** Opportunity to develop sustainable kitchen accessories made from eco-friendly materials. ### Who This Affects Most - **Kitchenware:** The kitchenware industry can explore creating versatile and multifunctional tools for modern kitchens. - **Home Organization:** The home organization industry can develop innovative storage solutions for kitchen spaces with limited storage options. - **Sustainable Products:** The sustainable products industry can focus on creating eco-friendly kitchen gadgets and accessories. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Aquatic Beverage Coasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crab-inspired-coasters.md) - [Quirky Spoon Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ototo-and-everyplate.md) - [Sleek Seafood Prep Utensils](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fish-turner.md) - [Eight-in-One Kitchen Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kitchyhub.md) - [Shark Bottle Openers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tacray-shark-pocket-opener.md) - [Tech-Friendly Organization Trays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sousshelf.md) - [Crinkle Fry-Inspired Clips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fries-clips.md) - [Novelty Fish Tin Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fish-tin-candle.md) - [Oval-Shaped Fish Skillets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fish-skillet.md)
