Since it was an extension to a pre-existing structure, its shape had to complement the rest of the home. To do so, the pair decided on a hexagonal structure. The six-sided extension extends above a green hilly lawn. This design feature adds a contemporary flair to the house's farmhouse style and [rustic setting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neville-park-residence). Combining the modern with the traditional, the team created a collaborative balance between their shared love for poetry and visual art. On the inside, the extension connects to a glass corridor. In addition, the hexagonal extension boasts a spotless [white metal exterior](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/t-house-extension).
