Considering that it commemorates the epic event that ended season 3, it is only appropriate that people pick up where it left off in a deliciously [morbid spirit](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beetlejuicethemed-afterlife-cake). Created for Daniel Robey's birthday by his girlfriend Tonneal, the Red Wedding Cake is rather simple except for the intricate sword of thrones topping it. Other than that, it is a basic [two-tiered white fondant cake](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snowshill-cheese-wedding-cake) that has been drenched in blood. People could easily mimic the Red Wedding Cake as long as they opt for a toy topper. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 29% | Activity: 27% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Game of Thrones-inspired Cakes:** Opportunity to create and sell cakes inspired by popular TV shows and movies, attracting fans and enthusiasts. - **Morbid Celebration Cakes:** Opportunity to create cakes that commemorate specific events or moments, appealing to consumers looking for unique and themed desserts. - **Fondant Decorations:** Opportunity to innovate in cake decorating using fondant, creating intricate designs and textures. ### Who This Affects Most - **Bakery:** Bakeries can tap into the trend of creating cakes inspired by popular TV shows and movies, attracting a wider customer base. - **Event Planning:** Event planning companies can offer morbid celebration cakes as a unique and memorable addition to special events and themed parties. - **Cake Decorating Supplies:** Suppliers of cake decorating materials can showcase and promote fondant products and tools to accommodate the growing demand for intricate cake designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Game-Themed Cake Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/among-us-impostor-cake.md) - [Dual-Flavor Movie-Inspired Cakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wicked-celebration-cake.md) - [All-Occasion Layered Cakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-cake.md) - [Fantasy Series-Inspired Pizzas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dragon-flame-pizza.md) - [Playful Biscuit-Inspired Cakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/party-rings-celebration-cake.md) - [Blush-Inspired Cake Recipes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buttermelt-blush-cake.md) - [Lobster Roll Wedding Cakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lobster-roll-wedding-cakes.md) - [Icy Heart-Shaped Desserts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crazy-for-you-cake.md) - [TV-Inspired Dessert Deliveries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bridgerton.md)
