Occupying a 16 acre site in the Berkshires in the United States, architecture and design company Anmahian Winton Architects has created 'Red Rock House,' a single family home that features a main house with one bedroom and a guesthouse alongside the main living quarters. As the building is located on a [steep hill](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-house-on-a-hill), the architects have designed a 200 foot long wall made of [board-formed concrete](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alloa-hills-weekend-home) to provide a level and even space for the construction of a garden and the two living quarters.

Occupying 6,400 square foot, the exterior of the main house is [steel-framed](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/steel-a-frame), featuring narrow wooden boards and aluminium sections used as detailing, that line the remainder of the exterior. There is a long projecting deck that is immersed in the trees that are next to the structure, made with the intention of reconnecting with nature.
