Marine Layer sets itself apart by producing what it calls "absurdly soft clothes" and its newest collection of t-shirts for men and women is made with 50% recycled cotton t-shirts and 50% other materials like sustainably sourced recycled and virgin fibers. This collection, called Re-Spun, helps to prove that sustainable options can be stylish and comfortable.
Pieces from the Re-Spun collection are outfitted with tags that remind consumers that these t-shirts are being given a "second life." As Marine Layer founder and CEO Michael Natenshon describes, "There’s a kind of poetry to knowing your T-shirt was reincarnated from another t-shirt."
Some of the Re-Spun styles that are available include vintage-inspired baseball shirts, classic striped polos, tank tops and graphic tees that are boldly emblazoned with "RECYCLED."
