An industrial harbor in Copenhagen is being re-developed into a vibrant recreation hub for the public, testifying to the city's commitment to providing more welcoming spaces for communal use, bathing, and leisure. The new plan includes many different and exciting features. The recreational hub has space for various public events and expands the range of activities that visitors can engage in. Access to the water is improved which can be very important, especially during hot summer days. In this vein, a portable dipping zone has been installed by Sharing Copenhagen, the aim of which is to "create a safe space where people can submerge in the harbor's water."

Overall, the area has been said to be "cleaner and friendlier" in comparison to its previous industrial state.
