Digital artist and illustrator Tyson Murphy digitally enhanced a couple of scenes from [classic Disney movies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/biscuiteers-x-disney-collection) using Photoshop. For the two remakes (from 101 Dalmatians and The Sword in The Stone,) he captured still images and [digitally painted over them](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drawings-alive). In comparison, the original scenes look lifeless. Murphy's re-imaging looks lively, colorful and will entice you to re-watch your favorite, classic Disney films. He’s only created two remakes so far, but he wrote on his [blog](http://gardenturtle.blogspot.ca/) that he will be doing more soon. Murphy is the lead character artist for Blizzard Entertainment’s World Of Warcraft video game -- so, with his insane talent, the next works will not disappoint. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 74% | Activity: 60% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Digitally Enhanced Illustrations:** Digital technology is transforming classic illustrations into lively and colorful works. - **Remaking Classic Scenes:** Artists are using digital tools to recreate classic scenes, giving them a fresh and modern spin. - **Artist-led Remakes:** Artists are taking it upon themselves to digitally enhance classic scenes, providing a fresh perspective on beloved works. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Entertainment:** Entertainment companies can use digital technology to enhance classic scenes and engage new audiences. - **Art and Design:** Artists and designers can use digital tools to create new interpretations of classic works, sparking new interest and revenue streams. - **Video Games:** Video game companies can bring in talented artists and leverage digital technology to create visually stunning and engaging games. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Remade Fantasy Action Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/epic-mickey-rebrushed.md) - [Animation-Inspired Themed Hotels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pixar-place-hotel.md) - [Anniversary-Honoring Holograms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/walt-disney.md) - [Interactive Theme Park Murals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cinderella-castle-mural.md) - [Diverse African Doll Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/creativesoul.md) - [Graphic Fashion Animation Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/superflat-animation.md) - [Playful Scooter Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disney-x-vespa.md) - [Legacy Animator Media Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disney-legacy-animated-film-collection.md) - [Dairytale Bridal Tributes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disney-wedding-dresses-1.md)
