Designed by Yicong Lu, the lamp is inspired by the look and operation of a [traditional record player](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/henry-turntable) and is turned on by moving the integrated arm overtop of the disk section. This makes it look like a record playing a track, while the accompanying illumination bounces off the stark white surface to offer your choice of illumination level to suit varying needs.
