The title "Real New Yorkers" is not easy to earn—yet it is a highly honorable distinction for both locals and immigrants of the city. Essentially, it means you are a self-sufficient and ambitious person that can persevere even in the most stressful of situations—which often present themselves during your daily commute to work.

Rhuigi Villaseñor and Puma decided to honor "Real New Yorkers" with a brand new sportswear capsule. Drawing inspiration from New York's five boroughs, Rhuigi pays homage to various style codes—from American collegiate aesthetics to faux-leather down jackets.

The Puma x Rhuigi capsule is expected to drop online on December 17th. The collaborators are launching it alongside a campaign that unsurprisingly features real New Yorkers and showcases their individuality.
