easyJet recently launched a new campaign for the summer that introduces 'Flybraries' to its aircraft, with the aim of getting kids excited about reading on an airplane.

All of the books that have been selected to stock the Flybraries put an emphasis on travel and adventure, including classics like Peter Pan, Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland and The Wizard Of Oz, plus contemporary titles like Wave Me Goodbye from Jacqueline Wilson.

Since the number of children who read for pleasure is said to be at an all-time low, this campaign to promote reading and literacy aims to get children hooked on captivating stories. After reading a book from the inflight lending library, travelers are able to return the reads so that others may enjoy their contents as well.
