German automaker [BMW](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bmw-1) has decided to jump onto the car-sharing service bandwagon whilst also showcasing its intent to differentiate itself from the crowd thanks to a whole slew of additional features that it dubs 'car-sharing 2.0'.

The service itself is called ReachNow and is somewhat based on BMW's already existing DriveNow service, which is active in Europe with a fleet of over 4,000 vehicles. ReachNow users can have a car delivered to them, and can either choose to keep their vehicle for longer than initially planned. Users who cannot drive can also take advantage of this car-sharing service in conjunction with a [chaffeur](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uber-and-may-mobility).

Ultimately, the ReachNow service is part of a growing movement to deploy car-sharing services as part of a push to completely revolutionize the way people drive vehicles and commute.
