# Audiobook Movie Spoofs Harry Potter,'Wizard People, Dear Readers,' Is Hilarious By TrendHead | Published 2009-01-14 | Pop Culture Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/re-telling-best-sellers-unauthorized-harry-potter-re-told-by-brad-neeely References: [notcot.org](http://www.notcot.org/post/18084/) & [creasedcomics](http://www.creasedcomics.com/wpdr.php) This, dear folks, is a humorous retelling of the fist Harry Potter book called Wizard People, Dear Readers. It is made by the artist Brad Neely who runs a site called Creased Comics. You can download the hilarious re-telling [audio file](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/audio-card) of the film for free and then sync it with the original movie, which is then played simultaneously, making sure, of course, that the movie is on mute. This sounds like great fun, but I wonder how the hardcore Harry Potter fans will react to this blasphemic wizard act. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.4/10 - Popularity: 6% | Activity: 87% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Internet](https://www.trendhunter.com/internet) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Audiobook Movie Spoofs:** Opportunity to create humorous retellings of popular movies through synchronized audiobooks. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Film Entertainment:** Potential for creating new and unique entertainment experiences through synchronized audiobooks to enhance the viewer's experience. - **Book Publishing:** Opportunity to explore innovative ways to engage readers by creating audiobook versions of popular movies. - **Fan Communities:** Chance to cater to the interests of hardcore fans by offering alternative and humorous adaptations of beloved movies. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Magic-Inspired Cook Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/harry-potter-bake-create-and-decorate.md) - [Wizard-Themed Dynamic Earbuds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/redmi.md) - [Wizard-Themed Board Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/monopolyharrypotteredition.md) - [Interactive AI Audio Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/owl-dragon-a-magical-adventure.md) - [Whimsical Magic-Themed Parks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ministry-of-magic.md) - [Wizard-Themed Coffee Creamers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coffee-mate-x-harry-potter.md) - [Spellbinding Donut Ranges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/krispy-kreme-collection.md) - [Minimalist Design-Conscious Boot Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/harry-potter-hogwarts-set.md) - [Enchanting Wizard-Themed Cafés](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/harry-potter-cafe.md)
