# Remote-Controlled Action Flicks The R/C Fast & Furious 6 Trailer Playfully Spoofs the Series By Michael Hines | Published 2013-04-10 | Autos Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rc-fast-furious-6-trailer References: [carbuzz](http://www.carbuzz.com/news/2013/4/7/Fast-Furious-6-Trailer-with-R-C-Cars-7713761/) & [youtube](http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=sQFmZpDvb6U) The R/C Fast & Furious 6 trailer is almost too good to be true. The [parody trailer](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reinfell-ad), based on the first trailer released for the upcoming automotive action film, stars R/C cars in place of real-life cars. The result is an impressive and humorous trailer that shines light on just how silly the series has gotten. Just because the [Fast & Furious franchise](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fast-furious-x-puma) has moved away from reality doesn't make it any less awesome. That being said, the silliness that is a group of cars dragging a plane to the ground is a lot funnier when performed by R/C cars. The editing in the R/C Fast & Furious 6 trailer is actually pretty sharp and all of the cars are accurately represented in R/C form. If only the makers of this trailer included fight scenes with dolls representing characters from the film. Next time, guys. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 7% | Activity: 35% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **R/C Car Parodies:** Opportunity for creating parody trailers using R/C cars to poke fun at popular movies and TV shows. - **Silly R/C Action:** Opportunity for designing and producing humorous R/C action scenes that showcase the absurdity of real-life situations. - **Accurate R/C Replicas:** Opportunity for creating detailed and accurate R/C replicas of cars, objects, or characters from movies and TV shows. ### Where This Applies - **Film and Entertainment:** Opportunity for leveraging R/C car parodies and action scenes to create engaging and comedic content for movies, TV shows, and online platforms. - **Toy and Hobby:** Opportunity for developing and marketing R/C cars and accessories that cater to customers who enjoy creating and experiencing humorous and silly R/C action. - **Creative Advertising:** Opportunity for using R/C car replicas to create captivating and attention-grabbing advertisements for automotive industry brands and related products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modernized Superhero RC Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hot-wheels-rc-original-edition-batmobile.md) - [Camera-Equipped Remote Control Cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snt-micro-fpv-car.md) - [Remote-Controlled Monster Truck Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hot-wheels-monster-trucks-hw-transforming-rhinomite-rc.md) - [Toy Brick Reimagined Trailers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wicked-movie.md) - [Whimsical Remote-Controlled Car Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/remotecontrolled-cars.md) - [Travel-Ready Racing Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flat-2-fast-card-racers.md) - [Life-Sized Electric Toy Cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wild-one-max.md) - [High-Speed Remote-Controlled Tanks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xrc-brawler.md) - [Cinematic Sneaker Packs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fast-furious-x-puma.md)
