Regarding its 100% organic young green coconut water, the brand explains, "Over time the [antioxidants and electrolytes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coconut-water-electrolyte-mix) in our coconut water can turn pink." This sustainably sourced coconut water is high-pressure processed (HPP) to retain light sweetness, fresh flavor and nutritional value without the use of heat. Rebel Kitchen's latest marketing for the coconut water expresses that it's as close as consumers can get to cracking open a young green coconut on a tropical beach, and it's a hydrating option for people who don't like coconut water—specifically other products on the market that are ultra-heat-treated or artificially sweetened. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.1/10 - Popularity: 74% | Activity: 68% | Freshness: 41% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Drinking](https://www.trendhunter.com/drinking) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Naturally Colored Beverages:** Naturally colored beverages are capturing consumer interest as they defy conventional expectations and enhance visual appeal, with Rebel Kitchen's pink coconut water being a prime example. - **High-pressure Processing (HPP):** The adoption of High-Pressure Processing in beverage production allows brands to maintain natural flavors and nutrients, offering a fresher and more appealing product without relying on heat treatments. - **Clean Label Hydration:** Clean label drinks, which emphasize minimal processing and organic ingredients, are gaining traction as consumers seek more transparent and healthier hydration options. ### Where This Applies - **Organic Beverage Industry:** The organic beverage industry is evolving rapidly as health-conscious consumers increasingly demand products that are both sustainably sourced and nutritionally superior. - **Functional Drinks Market:** The functional drinks market is ripe for innovation with natural ingredients like antioxidants and electrolytes that enhance health benefits and meet consumer demands for wellness-oriented beverages. - **Sustainable Packaging Sector:** Sustainable packaging becomes a focal point as companies like Rebel Kitchen align their eco-friendly branding with the growing consumer preference for responsibly packaged products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Chocolate Coconut Waters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coconut-water-with-chocolate.md) - [Modernized Coconut Water Brands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coconut-water-brand.md) - [Sparkling Coconut Waters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/strange-water.md) - [Fruity Coconut Waters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/100-coconuts.md) - [Ultra-Hydrating Coconut Waters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/organic-coconut-water.md) - [Tropical Coconut Beverages](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pia-colada-with-pulp.md) - [Matcha Coconut Water Drinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/matcha-coconut-water.md) - [Ultra-Refreshing Watermelon Coconut Drinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sparkling-coconut-water-with-watermelon.md) - [Refreshing Coconut Water Cocktails](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spiked-sparkling-coconut-water.md)
