Architecture firm Order Matter has completed the design of the Raw House, which is a [minimal apartment block](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stealth-house) created to shield itself from the busy Seoul streets in South Korea. The home is comprised of four rental apartments, a penthouse, and a cafe at the street level.

The name suggests that the material palette is made up of [stone, timber, and concrete](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-of-four-soils). Oliver Chiu, the founding director of the firm, wanted to open the block up on the south. This way, the [traditional Korean idea](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/element-house) of borrowing landscape would be brought into the Raw house. Chiu explains, “We wanted to offer residents an experience of nature not as a backdrop, but as a spatial and emotional presence."
