# Cooking Pot Sinks The Rapsel 'Chef' Collection Brings Your Cooking Hobby to the Bathroom By Meghan Young | Published 2010-08-17 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rapsel-chef References: [trendir](http://www.trendir.com/archives/004526.html) & [rapsel.it](http://www.rapsel.it/fullpage.html) For the cook who likes to bring his work home, the Rapsel 'Chef' sink series may be perfect for you. Resembling a large soup pot, it brings a cute quirkiness to your home while hinting at your love for cooking. According to Trendir, these Rapsel 'Chef' sinks "are made of aluminum and powder-coated in yellow, orange and blue." Although the steel handles are optional, I would opt for them considering how they'd make perfect towel or garment holders. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 3% | Activity: 38% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Multi-functional Home Fixtures:** The Rapsel 'Chef' sink collection shows how home fixtures can serve dual purposes, creating opportunities for more multi-functional and space-saving designs. - **Bold Design Statements:** The quirky design of the Rapsel 'Chef' sink collection indicates a growing trend towards using bold, playful designs in the home to make a design statement with functional pieces. - **Kitchen/bath Integration:** The Rapsel 'Chef' sink series suggests potential for more integration between the kitchen and bathroom spaces, allowing for more seamless and versatile home designs. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Fixtures:** Home fixture manufacturers can look to the Rapsel 'Chef' sink collection as inspiration for multi-functional fixture designs that serve dual purposes and provide space-saving solutions. - **Interior Design:** With the growing trend towards bold, playful designs in functional pieces, interior designers can incorporate unique fixtures like the Rapsel 'Chef' sink series into home designs to make a statement. - **Kitchen and Bath:** Kitchen and bath designers can look at integrating more designs like the Rapsel 'Chef' sink collection to create a more seamless and versatile home experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Reinventive Modern Kitchen Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxury-kitchen.md) - [Elegant Kitchen Sink Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kitchen-sink-system.md) - [Dual-Use Ceramic Basins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luneup.md) - [Slick Bathroom Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/slick-bathroom-sink.md) - [Textural Bathroom Sink Basins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/washbasin-collection.md) - [Collaborative Seashell-Like Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spire-washbasin.md) - [Multi-Functional Cook Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/this-cooking-appliance.md) - [Stainless Steel Sustainable Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/posco.md) - [Electric Kiln-Made Unique Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/volta-1.md)
