The shift toward hybrid and all-electric vehicles in the luxury automobile industry has been a slow and steady process, which is beginning to see models like the 2019 Range Rover P400e be introduced.

Offering up to 31 miles of electric range per charge, the vehicle features a four-cylinder Ingenium gas engine that is complemented with a 13.1 kWh lithium-ion battery. The total system power is rated at 398 horsepower when combining the 296 horsepower from the gas engine and the 141 horsepower created by the electric motor.

The 2019 Range Rover P400e features a top speed of 137mph and is capable of going from zero to 60mph in 6.4 seconds. The vehicle will charge up in about two hours and 45 minutes, which will come as welcome news to drivers looking to utilize the electric motor for local driving as much as possible.
