More of a mansion than anything else, the Sardinera House appears to have been sectioned into three parts -- at least when it comes to the back side. With these separate wings, the house looks even bigger than it really is. Full of flat planes and [floor-to-ceiling windows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ima-house), Ramon Esteve Estudio's design concentrates as much on [natural lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-gesso) as it does on open spaces. The interior matches the white of the exterior, creating a blank slate for the owners to do with as they please. Granted, the all-white does evoke a serene exotic look that fits with the [Mediterranean location](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-mila). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 77% | Activity: 50% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Luxurious Minimalism:** Opportunities for disruption in the minimalist design industry with a focus on luxury. - **Mediterranean Architecture:** Innovative approaches to designing residential properties in Mediterranean regions. - **Floor-to-ceiling Windows:** Development of new materials and techniques for creating larger, more sustainable windows for residential and commercial properties. ### Where This Applies - **Luxury Real Estate:** Integration of minimalist design in the luxury real estate market. - **Architecture:** Focusing on innovative approaches to designing residential properties in Mediterranean regions. - **Sustainable Building Materials:** Research and development for creating more sustainable building materials and techniques for larger, more sustainable floor-to-ceiling windows. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Minimal White-Plastered Hillside Villas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-bundle-house.md) - [Panoramic Terraced Villas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-95.md) - [Wooden Blind-Enclosed Spanish Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/na-mime-house.md) - [Coastal-Inspired Home Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-puerto.md) - [Compact White-Painted Modern Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whitepainted-modern-home.md) - [Coastal Courtyard Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/patio-house-residence.md) - [Burnt Orange Walled Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-magarola.md) - [Spain-Based Bright Modern Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-mila.md) - [Local Stone-Based Beach Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-quinto-sol.md)
