Bruins only uses simple sheets of white paper and pencil crayons of all colors and shades to capture a page-jumping effect. Bruins’ artwork is relatively unknown but is capturing the hearts of the viral art world. Some of his most beloved drawings include two men appearing to erect a falling candle, a frog jumping off the page and the Lochness Monster scaling its way through the white canvas. Bruins' work is thought-provoking and a testament to true patience. The way he captures the shadowing of his artwork effectively portrays a 3D appeal. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.0/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 89% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Optical Illusion Artwork:** Artists can create three-dimensional imagery using simple tools and techniques, capturing the attention of art enthusiasts. - **Viral Art World:** Unknown artists like Ramon Bruins have the opportunity to gain fame and recognition through social media and online platforms. - **3D Special Effects:** Artists can utilize unconventional methods to achieve 3D effects, creating unique and captivating visual experiences for viewers. ### Where This Applies - **Artistic Services:** Professionals in the art industry have the chance to tap into the growing demand for optical illusion artwork and offer unique artistic services. - **Social Media Platforms:** Social media platforms can provide a stage for unknown artists to share their work and gain recognition, potentially disrupting the traditional art gallery model. - **Entertainment and Media:** The entertainment and media industry can explore new ways to incorporate 3D special effects in movies, television, and advertising, enhancing viewer experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Geometric Sculpture Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/illusion-box.md) - [Stunning Origami Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/origami-portaits.md) - [Digital Archetype Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christian-rex-van-minnen-1.md) - [3D-Printed Flip Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stl-sculptures.md) - [Otherworldly Wooden Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-sculptures-1.md) - [Kinetic Optical Illusion Puzzles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-woodflow.md) - [Optical Illusion Replica Artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/liberty-science-center.md) - [Realistic Sketch-Reflective Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drawing-series.md) - [Illusion-Inspired Design Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ripples-collection.md)
