Mark Whalen is a talented Australian artist and he recently opened the doors to his solo 'Ramble Ramble' exhibition in Los Angeles' Over the Influence location. The installation features a lineup of [sculptures and wall reliefs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pure-exhibition) that represent Whalen's own iteration of what human-like subjects could be through [fluid forms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/optical-flow).

The artworks are translated through totemic structures and come in a range of sizes -- some of which sit on top of concrete structures. The Californian gallery explains that “A ramble is a journey with a kind of meta-destination, a route without any particular goal except the adventure of forwarding motion. For artist Mark Whalen, it’s the perfect analogy for his recent studio practices and arrival at this body of [fresh sculptural forms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ladder-series) for wall and floor.”
