Each one is drawn in a classic catalogue-like stance, but in Steadman’s raw style that gives each one a distinct sense of wonder. Some even appear so raw and amateur in style that they resemble the work of a child; classic of Steadman’s style. Based out of London, Steadman rose to populairty during the 1970s when he did illustrations for the work of famed journalist Hunter S. Thompson. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 43% | Activity: 22% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Eclectic Art Styles:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore unique and unconventional artistic styles that challenge traditional techniques in order to attract new audiences and create fresh perspectives. - **Species Conservation Awareness:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Use art as a medium to raise awareness about endangered species and contribute to conservation efforts through thought-provoking and visually captivating creations. - **Nostalgic Catalogue Aesthetics:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Combine nostalgic design elements with modern artistic approaches to create compelling and visually striking pieces that cater to individuals seeking a blend of past and present. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art and Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Embrace unconventional artistic styles and techniques to differentiate oneself in a saturated art market and reach new audiences. - **Wildlife Conservation:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborate with artists to raise awareness about endangered species and promote conservation efforts through creative initiatives and projects. - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate unique and visually arresting art pieces into home decor products to cater to individuals seeking distinctive and conversation-starting interior design. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Striking Urban Wildlife Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clare-allin.md) - [Vibrant Bird-Inspired Artful Puzzles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/macar-parrot.md) - [Pride-Honoring Bird Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pride-birds.md) - [Playful Modern Art Shows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brent-estabrook-debuts-storytime.md) - [Modernism Birdhouse Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dwellings-project.md) - [Limited Humorous Art Prints](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/david-shrigley-1.md) - [Apocalypse Post Pandemic Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contemporary-urban-art.md) - [Hand-Drawn Cartoon NFTs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/madsteez.md) - [Bird-Inspired Ethereal Cosmetic Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/majestic-feathers.md)
