The Rainy Pot is a playful tool to teach children to be gentle with delicate new growths and blossoming flowers. Seungbin Jeong's delightful design comprises a [wall-mountable panel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/planter-300), a cloud-like reservoir on top and a [half flower pot](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tilt-planter) on the bottom. The large and small versions come in a blue and a green respectively, while both semi planters are a bold red. The billowy white clouds are finished in a bright white hue and provide a generous opening on top and a cluster of perforations on the bottom. You can pour almost as quickly as you like from any [watering can](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plant-irrigation), bottle or cup and the Rainy Pot will distribute the liquid evenly and lightly to the soil below through its little holes. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.6/10 - Popularity: 80% | Activity: 81% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Youth](https://www.trendhunter.com/youth) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Playful Planters:** There is an opportunity to create more fun and interactive planters that can help teach children to be gentle with growing plants. - **Watering Innovations:** The Rainy Pot highlights a potential for smart watering devices that can distribute water evenly and gently to plants. - **Design-forward Gardening Tools:** Innovative and aesthetically pleasing gardening tools can make maintaining plants more enjoyable and stylish. ### Who This Affects Most - **Gardening:** The gardening industry can develop more creative and interactive tools and planters for consumers. - **Smart Home:** Smart home technology can be applied to gardening with sensors and devices that monitor and optimize plant growth and watering schedules. - **Education:** The Rainy Pot demonstrates an opportunity for educational institutions and toy companies to create hands-on activities that incorporate plant care and growth. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Naturalistic Self-Watering Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apot-selfwatering-planter.md) - [Self-Watering Smart Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-leafypod.md) - [Self-Watering Compact Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/patella-crescenda.md) - [Uniquely Shaped Self-Watering Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/self-watering-plant-house.md) - [Smart Self-Watering Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tendril-1.md) - [Self-Watering Desk Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/posha.md) - [Self-Watering Flowerpots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gropot.md) - [Water Catch-Integrated Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hemisphere.md) - [Futuristic Self-Watering Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-klaustrafloria.md)
