Raif Adelberg's Autumn/Winter 2013 menswear collection takes inspiration from the 'Hinterlands,' and expresses the strength it takes to endure a brutal winter.

In his latest collection, the Northern Canadian native creates clothing for a man who is not afraid to "rough it" on his own in the wilderness. Despite the [dishevelled look of the outfits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paranoid-fw25), the individual pieces created by the designer are anything but rough. The garments are [luxurious and extremely labor-intensive](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/high-winter) to make. The collection features several intricately-patterned intarsia sweaters and other [cashmere garments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fall-and-winter-line) that are all knit, loomed and dyed by hand. These kind of details bring the Hinterlands story to life, helping to convey the concept of a self-sufficient survivor.
