# Tech-Visible Bike Reflectors The Radian Wingman Maximizes Visibility with Radar and LiDAR By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2025-04-18 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/radian-wingman References: [newatlas](https://newatlas.com/bicycles/radian-wingman-bicycle-collision-avoidance/) & [radianllc.net](https://radianllc.net/) The Radian Wingman is a reflective piece of safety equipment for cyclists that's intended to keep riders visible to drivers, but also technology. The reflector is engineered with collision avoidance systems in modern vehicles that rely on radar and LiDAR to detect for pedestrians, [cyclists and other cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cyclist-safety1). The collision avoidance systems can have difficulty with detecting bikes, so the reflector will help to enhance their capability by reflecting radio waves back to elevate detection with radar and LiDAR systems. The Radian Wingman doesn't require any batteries or power to be used and is accented by a conventional tail light to elevate traditional visibility at night. The unit is being sold through the brand's website for $119.95.
